My son rented an apartment for several years. After a car accident, we moved him back home. He was told he had to pay June rent because he gave a notice a few days into May. He would be out by the beginning of June He continued to check the apartment every couple of weeks. On June 29 he went to check apartment one last time & turn in his keys. Someone else was already living there although he paid for the entire month. Electricity was still in his name until June 30. He also requested to be present for walk through and was never contacted. His phone number & new address were given to property owners previously. When he arrived on the 29th the new tennant was there & my son talked to him. He tried his key and it still worked. The lock was not changed out. When I called to talk to the property manager, she hung up on me. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!
