I made a purchase from DCNC just prior to them shutting down without notice. Unfortunately, the product was never received. Therefore, I have spent the past couple of months working to get a refund from the owner. He has been in contact, and made several promises of reimbursement, but I keep getting the runaround. They are said to be reopening at some point. PLEASE avoid this company. Trying to help others avoid this headache.

I have been ordering nuts from Detroit City Nut for several years. Excellent service and quality nuts! Frank was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. HIghly recommend!

They dont even deserve one star; the owner Frank Tymrak is a scammer and he has been scamming and not paying their bills. I hope he goes to jail. Go figure, he used to be a teacher!!! I wonder why he is not a teacher anymore? who knows!!!

I would go with Germack for a local wholesale distributor. I've lived on the east side all of my life. There is a lot of talk about them going out of business, trying to get in touch with someone, not paying their own vendors back, illegal activity in their warehouse. The stories (countless) I've heard are far below average. There's also some disturbing pictures and reviews on Facebook.
