I brought in an antique wall clock that is a treasured family heirloom. I was extremely nervous having anyone service it. The wood cabinetry was beginning to fall apart and it did not function. Clockworks exceeded my expectations. They spent lots of time with me to get me up to speed with all of the intricacies with operation, care, adjustments, etc. They were extremely careful not to damage or make repairs that would result in losing it's historical value. The clock is now fully functional. The price was also reasonable considering the amount of time and effort they put into it. I highly recommend Clockworks. I am grateful that we have professionals in our area with such a unique set of knowledge.

Have been visiting this business for a couple of years (we have lots of watches and clocks - - all of which generally need repair/batteries), and have never been let down. I'm a bit in awe at the watches that they can repair. Friendly folks who deliver a great service at a reasonable price.
What a find! I took my very old Black Forest (Germany) Shield Clock to Clockworks. I had been there before to fix a watch and liked the vibe i got. I explained the clock's history of what i knew and the history the clock had with my family (my parents and now me). The couple explained what their steps would be, what possible outcomes might be in the cleaning and hopeful repair of the clock to get it working. If anything different came up in the repair they would call me so we could discuss. I am thrilled with the outcome...SUCCESS! My clock was hanging on their wall so they could walk me through the steps of what he did to clean and repair it, how to take care of it, wind it, set it, and even showed me it had an alarm and the alarm worked too! So so cool! When he started the pendulum's swing and the clock was working, and then hearing the bells work for the 15 min intervals and then a different bell for the hour... I could imagine my parents also hearing it. I started to cry it meant so much to me. I recommend going here if you have any work to be done on a clock. They are straight-forward, answer questions, and keep you in the loop if anything might change from the initial conversation. During the repair, they called to make sure i had brought in all the parts. I thought i had. They determined a weight was missing, found one to be as original as the ones i brought in with the clock. I am so happy i brought this antique clock to Clockworks! Thank you! Kat S
I was glad to find that they moved to a new location vs going out of business. The owner is the most knowledgeable and honest man in this industry. I have been going there for years to have old clocks repaired. He knows what he is doing and charges a fair price. They also sell lovely clocks. I highly recommend them!
I have gone to this shop numerous times with damaged and/or old clocks. They have always been honest bout the condition and the expense. They have done a great job repairing what they can and explaining why, if they can’t. This is my go to store for anything time related.
