Good for kids
The paths are well taken care of and it is easy to get to the tower but it is an uphill walk. I think it is worth it.

This is an excellent park with soany different varieties of trails and views and environments to enjoy. Well kept trails, well managed forest. Just a wonderful wonderful place.
About 1.5 miles to the tower. Awesome view and pretty fair hike. I recommend going.
Absolutely amazing view and trail. Well-groomed (though difficult) trail leading to the tower (still worth the hike if you can). Definitely worth a visit at peak leaf color change in autumn.
It's great. Only took me an hour to find with google after a 5 years I could only remember that it was within roughly 50 miles, near Dunn county, has a gate and a tower and it's rough shape. It's pretty tucked away. I'll have to revisit.
Uphill hike to the tower which is available year-round. Great place for winter hiking although snow is not removed from the tower itself so climb the stairs with caution. Very well worth the relatively short (15-20 minute) walk from the parking area.
Went on a hike with a local friend, Carol, on July25, 2019. Beautiful trails and area and the view from the tower was fantastic. Well worth the little effort to hike to and climb.
