CLEARLYaGENIUS Genius

I searched Center Point Healing because i frequented this business when they were located on belcrest road and once at this location. However, i am giving it 2 stars because it no longer appears to offer massage services which were wonderful and what i was looking to reserve. I do not know about their acupuncture services and i am not interested in trying them out. I do wish to know why they no longer offer massage services.

Really nice local business. Elizabeth, the owner, is one of the best acupuncturists I’ve had (& believe me, I’ve had many). She is very compassionate, good at explaining things if that’s what you want, and is truly committed to her patients. She will also recommend herbs to help support healing but never pushes. Office is clean, easy parking, nice staff now offering other modalities. Highly recommend.

I originally started going for one issue and now just go for maintenance and general self care. I even got my husband to go for his military service related injury...it is the only treatment that has brought him relief from his chronic pain. They work with you and the instructions you receive from your MD and take time to explain the philosophy behind the treatment (if you're curious). Every session starts with a conversation about how things are going and how you're feeling, and they do a lovely job at connecting seemingly incongruous things in a way that really highlights the mind-body connection.

When I first came to Center Point Healing over a year ago with multiple medical problems and chronic pain I was not sure I believed in acupuncture. I knew massage would feel good but didn't know if it offered more. Now I have no doubt that these therapies work. The care I have received here is remarkable. With the opiate epidemic and our Maryland and national lawmakers removing access to effective pain medications I didn't know what I was going to do. Center Point Healing has helped me through this difficult time both physically and mentally. I know I can trust the training and process of Elizabeth, Melinda, and Shannon in their specialties. I feel so much better. I can also trust their gentleness and caring conversations to help with mental and emotional issues much like therapists. I am completely happy with my care and would recommend this practice without reservation.
