Words can’t express how good this food was man. I had the oxtails with white rice and some macaroni...mouth watering lol. Most definitely coming back. And the owner Marvin was so nice and made everything more better. Definitely worth 10 stars.

The food was on point.. so good that I forgot to take pictures of it. The service was very slow and could definately be improved upon. decor is very cool and an ode to jamaican culture. it's located in college park of a main road... sip getting in and out is actual more stressful than it should be, but that's manageable. prices are reasonable and portions are solid making it a good value. I recommend, especially on a day where you have plenty of spare time. Traveler and Adventurer - IG @brian.dent

Randomly came across this restaurant and decided to give it a shot. Ordered the jerk chicken, coco bread, rice and peas, and cabbage. Chicken was delicious. Slow roasted and seasoned well. The rice and cabbage however could have used a bit more seasoning and/or if the jerk gravy was put on top it may have tasted better. The coco bread was very moist and good. just wish the rice and cabbage wasn't so bland that day.. Im willing to go back and try again.

I ordered the large oxtail rice and peas with macaroni and plantains. Now I don’t normally leave reviews but this oxtail is not it, if you are from the islands you would taste it . The oxtail was mediocre, a tan color...oxtail should be a dark red brown color. When the oxtail is tan that means it was not cooked with enough browning. The macaroni pie was hard , and it tasted bland as if they used American sliced cheese (that’s not how it’s done. The plantains were done well to my surprise and the pineapple ginger was good. Don’t order the oxtail please . I love oxtail and this was a poor representation of Caribbean or Jamaican oxtail. Simply put it taste like white people oxtail. Maybe try the curry goat or something else but not the oxtail. Or just order Chinese.

I thoroughly enjoyed the oxtail nice and tender. Service took a little long to wait for the food to be ready. They were busy for a Friday night so the wait was expected. I’m from NYC and I usually get my o to from Flatbush and am vet picky. The meat was so tender and I was one forkful inn. Damn that food was good. My husband had the chicken sampler (the curry, jerk and brown stew chick and he thought it was very good. This is our spot now. Good portions and decent price. Enjoy
