Bike share program is awesome, and it’s great that they provide busses for students to get around campus. However, they seriously need to reduce their ticket prices. Most students can’t afford 85 for parking in the wrong lot by accident, and “it was an accident” doesn’t seem to be a legitimate excuse, despite what their website says. If you get a ticket from DOTS, go to PG county court rather than request an appeal through the school!! Going through the school takes at least 4 weeks (mine took 5) and it’s not guaranteed that they’ll drop or reduce the charges. PG County is way more likely to reduce parking fines to 10/15, and you can only do one or the other!!

Ticketed me for parking in a lot that I previously had parking in before they terminated it without any notice to me. I tried to appeal and was denied because I “should have checked my parking account” (the parking account that I wasn’t even aware I had) on the arbitrary date they terminated it. Judge, jury, and executioner accountable to basically no one but themselves, this is the biggest money grubbing *expletive* of a department in the university.

Officer made a registration error by putting MD instead of WV state. Next day got a ticket for unregistered car, same following day. they charged the rental company directly so they charged my credit card. called for over a month with no one returning the calls, finally got response that they will refund both tickets. well that was over 3 weeks and the rental company have to receive the refund yet. Will keep calling for a week otherwise I will file a court's small claim. I have enough evidence to support my case. Update 8/31/2019: I contacted the rental company and they received the tickets refund. The rental company refunded my credit cards.

Hiring someone full time to patrol McKeldin for alien space invaders would justify themselves in the budget more than these people.
