I delivered my third baby here with Liz and couldn't be more happier! They gave me caring, phenomenal care throughout my pregnancy, labor, postpartum care, and now amazing women care. They have helped me through so much! High blood pressure, utis, clogged ducts, early labor and more. Candace does an incredible job running the front desk, making sure everyone is happy and taken care of with all questions answered.. Amy helped me thorough most of my pregnancy making sure my concerns were always addressed and that I felt comfortable. These ladies were and are amazing! I wish I could of had my other two children here.

We had our second baby here, and after having a hospital birth for my first that didn't follow my birth plan, I knew exactly what I did and didn't want for my baby's birth. Our labor progressed very quickly, and everything was managed so well and went according to plan despite the quick labor. I got in the tub just in time to push, and Heather was amazing at managing our concerns, including hemorrhaging (this concern was discussed ahead of time and we had a plan in place to manage abnormal bleeding). Prenatal and postnatal care were amazing for both me and baby, and they provide so much helpful information along the way.

Every midwife and staff member has amazing bed side manner and customer service. You walk-in and out feeling so welcomed! They offer so many educational resources as well. It’s hard to put into words how empowering my experience was at Beginnings. When I initially became pregnant with my son, I was going to go the OBGYN/Hospital route. after a few visits with my OB, I decided the environment wasn’t for me: the visits were always super quick and my DR just seemed distant and somewhat cold. I decided that since I knew I wanted a natural birth and because I was low risk, I decided to switch to Beginnings to see if I was a candidate to birth there. I was and so I began my care with them. From the first visit, I felt welcomed and supported, and always felt like they were getting to know ME during my visits and were always giving me more than enough time to ask questions I might have. They always made me feel empowered to make the decisions that worked for me for my pregnancy and birth and were always so knowledgeable about all the things I had questions about. While every midwife there is incredible, by the time my son’s birth came around, I felt like I had really clicked with Midwives Heather and Jolene and was happy to hear that they were the midwives on call when I went into labor. When I got to the birth center to give birth, their calm, positive, and excited attitudes put me at ease and gave me the encouragement that I was capable of birthing my baby the best way my body knew how, which I did - I quite suddenly caught my own baby, and Heather did an amazing job staying calm and making sure everything was ok with him. After the birth I needed a good amount of stitches and Jolene and Heather did a great job keeping me calm and getting the job done with professionalism and grace. I felt so cared for by them. Thank you so much, Beginnings Birth Center staff, for everything you do. The women in your care are so blessed to have you taking care of them.
