Wonderful experience learning to prepare recipes that will taste like a pro made them. David develops his recipes and teaches the techniques needed to pull them off at home. My family has loved everything I've made! You won't be sorry whether you take a class or have him prepare food for you. No matter how you look at it, a cooking experience with David is a winner!!
David has prepared fabulous meals twice for us when we had guests. We had such a good experience the first time that we asked him back! There were several menu choices to help create the perfect meal. The food was great and the presentation was outstanding. He will also demonstrate some of what he is preparing. We will definitely ask David to create another special meal for us.
David is a wonderful cook and teacher. I have taken several cooking classes with him both as a student/observer and as a participant. He is knowledge and fun to work with. His creations are delicious and a feast for the eyes. If you’ve ever watched one of those cooking shows on TV, being in David’s class is like being in one of those classes with all the fun and none of the anxiety. After taking a class with David you will come away with new knowledge and confidence that you too can create delicious dishes.
I just finished the Pro Series and it was wonderful, informative month long class (3 hours a day; 3 days a week) that focused making stock and broths, french sauces, the break down of beef, lamb, chicken and fish. And yes, there was a final cook-off. Dave is the chef/owner and instructor of the series and he made the series fun, interesting, and made me wanting to learn more.
David has cooked and taught in our kitchen many times. Each time was an amazing experience - entertaining, educational, fun and delicious! He is meticulous in methods, techniques and cleanliness, is an encyclopedia of food facts and history, and creates a professional but fun learning environment. His menu creations are flavor adventures you don't want to miss. Get to know this chef if you don't already!!
I have taken about 10 classes and have enjoyed and learned a great deal on each one. I signed up to take a class from David and the class was postponed to a new date. Unfortunately for me, the new date wouldn't work. Not to worry. David set up a time with me one on one to makeup the class so I wouldn't miss it. How special is that? Signup for their classes. They are a great experience and you learn a lot from the small classes and the hands on approach. I can't promise you'll get a one on one but I will promise you'll have a great time.
This guy is an extremely talented chef. He catered my wedding and his presentation and quality was fantastic. It's still something that comes up when we reminisce about the wedding with friends. They all remark about the displays and quality.
