True to the “Robinhood” theme this place is run by a cheat and liar. I was rolling through town when I stopped in. I was served by Debbie the “manager.” I realized I made the mistake of disclosing that I was just passing through, (lesson learned when in an unfamiliar dive bar,) when, the next day, I checked my credit card charges online. Anyway, Debbie had taken the liberty of increasing the, already generous, tip I left her by 12. I called in and voiced my concern to another bartender who notified Debbie. Debbie, in turn, called me and assured me she had called my bank to resolve the “mistake.” After a few days I still had not seen a credit to my account so I called my bank. Surprise, surprise .... there was no record of Debbie having ever called. I guess she thought she was stealing from the rich (me) to give to the poor (her.)

Was told it's their law that I'm required to buy food in order to be served alcohol. Sorry all you are required to do is serve food under the nrw laws. I will definitely not be going back even though I frequently went here for 15 years.
Great laid back place. Bartender was super friendly. We had a cheeseburger that was great for the price.
