A great small shop, I decided to stop by after reading some of the previous reviews. Did not disappoint, they had a great selection of stuff and the guy working there (Marty?) was very nice and offered great suggestions on what I was looking at. Ended up getting a practice jersey and other small stuff I needed. Would recommend. Great local shop

Very caring, concerned, helpful toward the individual. Highly knowledgeable across-the-board about equipment, set up, etc. as same pertains not just to hockey, but skating in general...... One is neither oversold nor undersold. Outstanding for youth, those who are starting out regardless of age, in equal breath those who have "been around"......... In a day and age where so much "big box" exists, it is refreshing to witness a private business which is, from the heart, dedicated to service, that which is right.

I haven't skated in 5 years and no longer had hockey skates. I parked in front of Slapshot Sports and put a Quarter in the parking meter fully expecting to be in and out within 15 minutes. Boy was I impressed with the time and expertise Marty showed me. When you are about to spend 200 to 350 on a pair of skates you want them to be right. After an hour and a half I had my new skates. I tried them last night and they were great! BTW, I had to keep feeding that parking meter.

Marty is far and away the most knowledgeable store owner with regards to hockey. You can go to him with any problem, concern, or issue, and he'll fix it or recommend where to go to get it fixed. He's an honest hard-working shop owner and a great source of information.

Marty was great. Gave me great advice on what Ref gear to buy. He was even extremely friendly/tolerant of my toddler running around the store. I will continue to work with him.
