Beautiful area. Very nice museum. The boat was closed for the season but very nice anyway.

This was a great place to visit to learn about the beginnings of Maryland. There's a lot to see in what at first appears to be a small museum. Make sure to plan a lot more time out on St Clement's Island because there's a lot of walking.
Nice history of the area, and during December a train and doll exhibits.
Quiet place mid week, not a lot on the island to look at with the lighthouse shut. Bring a picnic but you'll only spend an hour or two
