I researched as many varieties of dog training as I could find before making a commitment for our newly rescued Pit Bull, Teddy. Training was thorough, friendly, and successful! After getting my new pup Willard at 9 weeks, I was eagerly looking forward to the training process and learning more about off leash training specifically. I was referred to John from a family member who insisted on going to see him. When contacting John, I had a confirmed appointment within a couple days. He went out of his way to provide a puppy consultation to work on basic obedience, fundamentals, overall care taking and answered all of my questions. This was very helpful and gave me the confidence I needed for day to day training of Willard. I'm already seeing a huge improvement. John is an incredible dog trainer! We were having some challenges (play biting, jumping up) with our beloved high-energy rescue dog and John was able to help us with all of them. My husband and I were initially skeptical of the e-collar method but it worked wonders and now we are able to let our dog play off-leash at the park. My wife and I rescued a Treeing Walker Coonhound in May. After reading up on the breed and surfing the web for information, we both realized we would have our hands full. We quickly started researching training and obedience classes and were referred to Lizza's Pawsitively Perfect Off-Leash K9 Training through some friends of ours that had attended the training classes. We started the training in July, and immediately after the first lesson we saw results. Walks, playtime, and Off-Leash time are so much more enjoyable. We don't have to constantly repeat commands or continually yell the dog's name to get her to respond. As we progressed through the training lessons my wife and I gained confidence in not only our abilities, but we could visibly see the confidence in our dog. We finished up our training in September, and we are already thinking about going back for some additional lessons. I can't say enough great things about the training Mr. Poole provides for the dog and their owners. My wife and I are so happy that we enrolled in Lizza's Pawsitively Perfect Off-Leash K9 Training.
