Happy hour with coworkers. Everything was delicious. So glad we work near, we'll definitely be back. The staff are friendly and smiling, the atmosphere is welcoming and if you sit at the bar Amanda is awesome and knowledgeable about the drinks and menu while Caleb has your back on the best gelati EVER. Seriously. Try the honey pignoli if you don't mind soft pine nuts, the saffron caramel if you want to experience next level and the sweet basil if you want a sweet and earthy surprise.

Incredible first experience for Sunday Brunch, although our group ignored most of the "Brunch" items because we wanted to try the staples of the newly made over Petite Louis (Lupa retained the same ownership group Foreman/Wolf) Interior layout is the same, but updated with tasteful burnt-orange walls and wood accents, I especially like the blonde wood tables. My favorite part of Petite Louis, the “comptoir”, has been converted into a gelato/cafe, which may have been the only possible way to improve on the original (I mean it’s ice cream). To the food! Many of the staples from Cinghiale (sister restaurant) have made it to the Columbia Roman/Italian outpost, most importantly the lamb meatballs. Prices for “comfort” Italian at first glance felt a little high, the menu is split between “Primi” and “Secondi” making you think you could order one of each to make a meal, but we found out that the portions are GENEROUS as well as very thoughtfully made and I would challenge anyone to try to finish an order from each section. Highlights of the meal were the aforementioned lamb meatballs with polenta our group shared, the margarita “roman style” pizza (foccacia d’abruzzo, it’s ridiculous and big enough to split/share as an appetizer) and my “Primi” of Anolini which was perfectly cooked fresh pasta in a light brown butter and sage sauce. I might sound like a broken record, but everything we had was Aces from the drinks (Aperol Spritz) to our Gelato to go as we had to walk-off the meal we just consumed. Constructive advice to the “new” restaurant would be more Gelato signage on the outside! Come summer you should be able to tell from the lake what direction to paddle to get that ridiculous homemade stuff. I myself had the Tiramisu Gelato to go with a shot of Espresso to make my own Affogato. Quite an indulgent Sunday.

Great food, great service, typical of Cindy Wolf's restaurants. A bit noisy so not a spot for a quiet romantic dinner. Plan to try the happy hour.

This is my new favorite local restaurant: Excellent food, Terrific service, Extensive and affordable wine selection, Homemade pasta, Delicious pizza. . . Bring a friend and try the cookie assortment. You’ll be glad you did.

The grilled Calamari from here is really good and fresh. I also like the Lamb meatballs they have under there AntiPasti menu. My entree was the Grilled Lamb leg steak which was very flavorful but the cut of meat was very fatty. I would’ve also pair the Lamb steak with polenta from the Lamb meatballs instead of the onion rings that comes with this entree.
