Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Spent two days for a trial at the Maury County Court House. The building's exterior is beautuful and parking for the disabled is convenient to the entrance and an elevator inside. Officers and staff were friendly and courtious. The benches are firm but comfortable, and the witness box was quite cramped. I took a picture of a plaque in the lobby. Good judges here Maury County. A true historical landmark in our town. Great people work here very friendly down home feeling lot of history here.
The Maury County Courthouse, located in Columbia, is as true a historical landmark as any. Anchoring the scenic and vibrant Downtown Square it's architecture and poise really fit well among the ever growing and bustling city center. If you're driving through be sure and take a drive around the square and around this great functional landmark!
All of the employees are very friendly and helpful. Great bunch of people.
