Good for kids
We had my surprise BDAY party out here and it was great. Clean, great parking, bathrooms. Great spot for 20-60 people! We played corn hole, played music. No one was around so we got loud and didn’t bother anyone. They have lights and electricity so the options are endless.

Great place to hike and enjoy nature. Not heavily used.
Enjoyable place to visit the old conservation department headquarters nice picnic area quiet and you're up in the elevation a little bit so you get to see a few more birds of prey
It's so beautiful here.
Nice park area. Decent little playground for kids that never seems to have very many people at it. Pretty unknown pavillion area. Grindstone nature area across the street gets loads more visitors. Theres not many marked trails here, but there is plenty of parking and I think one of the houses can be reserved for festivities.
The playground and shelter here are relatively new. The play structure is best for children 5 years and older, but is usable by a 4 year old. Great place to have a birthday party!
Great place for the meet ups and classes put together by City of Columbia.
