My granddaughter was too proud to ask us to come home...she really did mostly like the 27 days she spent here last oct/nov 2019 before moving. She always is wondering how to get back to help brighter days since the pandemic dampened everything.
Excellent service for people in time of need. Majority of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Great place to go to get back on ones feet, minus a few \petty rules\ that make one feel they were back in \elementary school\... I guess a small price to pay for a clean facility to sleep, shower, and find useful resources to help oneself find employment, housing, and mental health services to improve their situation...
There are 12 beds for females. And they hold the spots for the regular people instead of being first come first served. So until a regular stops coming, no one new gets to stay. Please review these policies. The shelter needs to do more than ship people off to Indy with no way back!
