Called to get information on a background check and the lady that answered was rude as hell. I feel sorry for any1 that lives in this county and has to deal with them on the regular. Good luck.

You want to know your court date or the court date of a friend or loved one? Too bad. This is Colorado county. If you bond out, you'll wait about 3 carefree months. If Chris Maddux is your magistrate when you get arrested, you most likely won't be able to bond out, unless you are quite wealthy. So you will spend 3 agonizing months in the 7th level of Dante's inferno not knowing what is going to happen, or when. Chris Maddux needs to be reported to Judicial Review, the State Bar of Teaxas or the ACLU. He has a vested interest in at least one bonding company in this county, and is obtusely guilty of official oppression. He sets bonds 3 to 5 TIMES higher than any other magistrate in the county, with absolutely no justification. His only justification, is that the 10% take that the bondsman makes on surety bonds, is 3 to five times higher... and that goes right into his pocket.
