How about calling during business hours for a recording telling you to call back during business hours.

I signed up for the Ledger thinking I'd have time to read the paper everyday. I ended up cancelling because I'm a new mom and couldn't find the time to actually read the papers and they were piling up. I cancelled and THOUGHT that was the end of it. They were very nice and ensured that my subscription had been cancelled (and it was). However, I have since been called so often that I would consider it to be harassment. I'm being hassled to renew my paper subscription or I'm being told about new deals. I've asked multiple times to be taken off of the call list but I still receive calls often. Just this week I received two calls (one today and one yesterday) from customer service to see if I'm interested in re subscribing.
The Ledger has gone truly down hill. While there parent company struggle to survive the paper is feeling it. They publish very little local news and and have jacked up costs of the paper which has nothing in it. Reporters are split between Columbus and Macon which further hurts local news. Overage. It is also crummy they charge to read stories when it hardly gives details. They are no longer Columbus best media source just a failing advertising publication.
Piss POOR excuse for a so called local news paper, price increases every time you turn around, and no current local NEWS
The staff is very polite
