I love this place! I picked up a beautiful Marantz 6300 turntable for what I feel was a very fair price, I have seen these units listed elsewhere for much less, and I have also seen them listed elsewhere for much, much more. The sense of confidence in dealing directly face to face with the owner of a small, local business is worth it’s weight in gold! I am a novice audiophile and Scott didn’t know me from Adam when I first walked into his store, yet he still gladly took his time to explain and answer all of my questions (and even promptly answered MANY follow up questions via email after my first visit) and treated me like I was the most important customer he had. Will definitely be back!

This place is fantastic, friendly and fair. I bought a new stylus online but messed-up the wires when trying to connect it to the headshell. The gentlemen there were very knowledgeable and were able to help fix my stylus within minutes while I was in the store. Instead of buying online, I'd highly recommend you pay them a visit to leverage their knowledge and find perfect stylus replacement or upgrade for you (instead of guessing online), and have them do the work to connect it properly for you as well!
Had a simple speaker surround replacement for a Klipsch subwoofer. Went to this place because guy told guy told me easy repair, and seemed very knowledgeable on how to work on speakers (30 years). Paid 65 up front, was told would cover parts and labor, take about 4-6 weeks. After 6 weeks, went to pick up speaker and was told I owed 15 more for additional parts and labor. Challenged additional cost and was told he had \heck of a time getting the glue to stick\. He had to get additional material because his glue wasnt working. He never offered to discuss the work he did, just pay and leave. I decided to take the cover off and inspect the work on my own. I found that the surround he used was not same quality as what was originally on speaker (rubber), he used a lesser quality material (foam). Again, his reason was because the rubber wouldn't stick. Never received call to discuss if okay to move forward. Will never go back to this place or ever recommend.
Told me that he couldn't help find the needle I needed and to just order it off the internet after I tried showing the type I needed
I was very impressed by the quality of work performed by Stereo Lab. They repaired two turntables for me recently. One of the turntables could not be repaired by other shops, but played perfectly after visiting Stereo Lab. I will continue to trust them with all of my audio repairs.
