My mother passed away recently. She had prearranged all her funeral expenses in advance, making our job of planning much easier for my sister and myself. Andrew and Tommy and Martha E. from Parkwood were especially helpful making this as easy as an event like this can be. They were understanding, patient and compassionate. I would definitely recommend them.
The staff at Striffler - Hamby on Macon rd. have always made us feel as at ease as possible. When you lose a loved one, everything seems stressful but we never felt any pressure to make any decisions that were not fully thought out. We did not feel rushed and everyone there seems to genuinely care for you and your loved one.
With sudden passing of my Mother in July, we went to Striffler-Hamby for Funeral services. We were placed in the hands of Gary Murphy for the casket selection, valt and service preparations. We chose the Mill Room which is a very beautiful room for a viewing. The entire process was handled with great precision and respect. The Mill room handled our 200 guests with ease and everyone there at Striffler Hamby was so polite, respectful and sympathetic. Also did an awesome job with helping us place Items our Mother Enjoyed. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The staff helped us in the midst of chaos and helped us start the grieving process. Thanks again for your wonderful services. (Oh and the flavored peppermints are wonderful too)
Gary Murphy handled my father's sudden passing with grace and the utmost of respect. He was kind and thoughtful, and made the process as easy on my family as possible.
