One of the most beautiful covered bridges in Georgia. This is only one part of the park. The river scenery is beautiful. Please be careful walking on the rocks. It can be super slippery due to slimy algae growing on the rocks. In addition to the bridge and the river, there is a nice trail system.
Beautiful place! The trails are nice, clean, well kept, and the campground is wonderful! Can't wait to do some camping here in the Spring even though it's only twenty minutes from home. The Visitor's Center is small but has a nice selection of souvenirs, hats, and t-shirts, plus a neat display of local wildlife. The staff was super friendly and helpful as well. Can't believe that we've driven by this gem a gazillion times but never actually visited. We will definitely be back!
