I have found Laura, Sue and Wayne to be wonderful individuals to work with who seem truly interested in enhancing the education and well being of my children. Would HIGHLY recommend!

I started taking my 12 year old daughter to Music Advantage 2 years ago. She has been at one other studio for one season, and we were looking for something close to home. Once we had been with Music Advantage for only a short time, we realized how much more my daughter was learning and grown in her knowledge of piano and music in general. Laura is a wonderful teacher, and truly teaches students how to learn and play music from the start - not simply to just \memorize\ the notes of a song, and write in the notes so they can figure out how to play that song. She is gentle and warm, yet challenges her students to push them out of their comfort zone and really pull out their strengths and talent. We have nothing but good experiences with Laura and the studio. She has always been willing to work with us about making up lessons, and any issues with payment. We would highly recommend her and her staff!

The instructor Wayne Carpenter was great, but the owner Laura was extremely negative and tone deaf when I asked her questions about flexible payment options and missed lesson make up lessons. She argued with me on the phone, insulting me about not knowing how business is run and told me that the instructors have no rights in telling parents anything. Her emails and what she told me on the phone contradicted each other. It is too bad because I would have gladly paid as I thought Wayne could have done some good, but there are plenty of great teachers out there. Being extremely rude to potential customers is not good for business and any business that caters to kids wanting to learn something new should be smarter with how they communicate. Very sad.
