Lovely trails as always. Such a peaceful and brisk hike. Love Proud Lake!

Proud Lake SP has my home hiking trails that I've hiked quite a bit. If you like the water, stay on the east side of Wixom Road. Hikers and riders would enjoy the trails on the west side, which aren't as traveled or groomed. The west trails also connect to the trail that takes you to Kensington Metropark. Proud Lake SP even contains a couple spots where you can't hear traffic noise and because of its more peaceful zones, it's one of the best natural places in the metro area. I'm grateful to live close to this natural resource.

I was hesitant to even review this place because I selfishly wouldn't mind it flying under the radar BUT the trails here are beautiful. One of my new favorite spots to take the pup in southeast Michigan.

It's so beautiful especially taking those walks in the woods. It's the most amazing experience and I'm not use to living in nature but this is the best decision. Cause i get to experience this with my friends, family, and/or by myself.

First time seeing this place and it was incredible. The hiking trails made me feel like I was in the UP. Old growth and huge trees, beautiful clean river flowing through. It's the nicest nature preserve area I've seen in Southeast Michigan.
