Dr. Hoyer is a Western Dr. with a Eastern philosophy , this mix means she is a whole person physician and is open to alternative treatment options as well as how stress levels and nutrition play their part. My first visit we talked for 1 hour before the physical began which I found to be beneficial. She has drawn pictures, been available during off hours and is an active partner in ensuring that I receive the best possible health care that she can provide. My overall health has improved tremendously since being introduced to her and I wish I had found her sooner.

From securing an appointment for Covid testing, to going to the testing site, to receiving the results-compassion, courtesy , professionalism, efficiency, and concern for patient were ALL evidenced, by every staff member, in my experience with going for Covid Testing at Rush. Dr Danuta Hoyer and her nursing assistant Tyler, are 2 women I have the utmost respect for and gratitude to. Tyler assisted me to secure an appointment and was always willing to take a call to talk to me. She assured me if I had any trouble to call her back immediately. Dr Hoyer did a tele health visit with me, listened and addressed what was going on with me. She asked I text her the following day to give her vitals! She also checked in with me the following week. I am so grateful to the staff at Rush for helping me through this and forever grateful to Dr Hoyer and Tyler for being there and not overlooking a single detail in my health care! They are my superheroes and their concern for me will forever be in my heart! God bless Rush staff. You are all superheroes and so far above any other medical facility ! Jane McWeeny
