Mrs. Alma, God Bless you, your Family & Everyone's soul who is nourished by the Love & Time that you put into your Food. Yesterday was my first time ordering from your restaurant. I ordered 2 oxtail plates, which was complimented with 3 sides/cornbread. My choices for sides were, Mac N Cheese, Red Beans & Rice, Yams, Greens. Next time I order, I'll make sure to to show up a little earlier for your cabbage & dressing. Thank you Brandon for accomodating, my aunt and I. Also, thank you for walking our food out to us as well. I am really keen on good customer service. And must I say, you have been taught very well. Everything, including the Cornbread was DELICIOUS. Not salty, or under seasoned, just perfect! I drove all the way from Chino, and found a Gem in my home town. 4 stars for running out of dressing and cabbage. Other than that, Thank you for making my experience Grand. I will be coming back.

First time going to this place. Food and desserts were excellent. I'm definitely no expert on soul food, but this is pretty darn tasty and delicious.

Not sure if the soul food out here different but I’m from TX & it’s a no for me. I do not believe in bashing small businesses especially black owned. But, the sides were not satisfying. Greens could use more seasoning. The Mac and cheese were practically separated, no creaminess to em, just shells and cheese. The yams were decent enough to finish, I’m used to a Lil bit more sugar/brown sugar/ cinnamon. The fried meats my family had were decent. For 65 we definitely expected a little bit better. Oh and my parents ordered potato salad but they gave us greens because they were out, when they specifically said they don’t eat greens. Why not just double one of the sides they already ordered? Best of luck to you all. Just giving an honest review.

Great food, cook to order soul food. Reminds me of home. Welcoming staff and beautiful restaurant. My daughter loved the Mac and Cheese, all homemade. Very authentic and her Catfish is fixed just perfect!
