I was contacted after a job fair to set up an interview at RBC. We scheduled it for a week later. I live about 2-3 hours away (during morning traffic) from the facility. I was about an hour and a half into the drive on the morning of the interview when a lady called me from RBC to inform me that they needed to cancel the interview, and reschedule. She explained that Jett, the interviewer, was supposedly on a business trip and wouldn't be able to meet with me. I asked when they were available to reschedule, but she said she didn't know, she was just filling in for the lady who did know, and I would be called back to reschedule. It has been over a month and I have not heard a single thing from anyone at RBC. I don't know what happened, or what the true reason was that they cancelled, but I found it incredibly unprofessional, and dishonest. I do not recommend pursuing employment or working with this company.
