MKB Holdings acquired the dealership I worked at as an IT Manager for 5 years. I loved my job prior to the acquisition. The staff was promised that nothing would change and the transition would be slow, this was until they realized they couldn’t just use the software the the company was previously licensed. (It was stated in the contracts with the company’s ) I was bullied into giving them rights into things that were not theirs. They could have easily paid for them but that wasn’t goin to happen... as I continued into the role, which I never was given any direction, I was noticing some very large security concerns for such a large, multi location company. I attempted to bring these up to my manager, he stated these aren’t a concern. I this attempted to reach out to the president of the company. I was promised a call for the next day, never got the call. 4 weeks later a sent an email to the press and VP. 2 weeks no response. I finally was at my last straw, I called the HR Director, his first statement to me after I explained my issues was”why don’t you just quit” I explained that I wanted to be there but I need to be heard and have a meeting with him and the president and VP. He agreed, he sent me a text a few hours later to meet them at new location they are purchasing, which is a 3 hour drive, I ended up flying which was an hour and a half flight. I was very excited to finally have some guidance and a purpose at the company. Once I got there got out of the plane and did the “alright let’s get to it!” They informed my that I was no longer employed with them.

Where do I start??? First of all they sell the best brand boats with the best waves/wakes in the industry, Malibu and Axis. The sales people are honest, personable, and care about their customers. Their service department knows their products and are a dream to work with. I bought a 2017 T22 and had a bunch of RGB Lighting installed and they knocked it out of the park. They gave me a killer deal and installed everything with photo updates. Can't say enough good things about the Tommy's team.

I highly recommend Tommy’s of Grand Rapids. After being told by another marina that they couldn’t even look at our boat for 3 weeks Pete reached out and knew what our problem was just by hearing what was going on. He told me to call Sonny and he was awesome to work with!! My husband and I really appreciated their communication and how quick they were! We are grateful for a fast turn around and awesome service! We definitely recommend Tommy’s of GR!!

Toni, Sonny & the whole Tommy's GR team has been fantastic. We have nothing but amazing things to say about the experience. From walking in the shop and talking to all the staff to scheduling our boat delivery, we've been treated well. They spent a full day on the water teaching us all about our new Malibu and surfing. They've also been great with quick questions as we learn the details. We also had the boat up at Walloon for a couple weeks and were happy to get a dockside oil change to keep things running smooth. Keep up the great work Team Tommy's!
