My wife and I found Con' Olio a number of years ago having just moved to Austin and have been loyal customers ever since. The folks who run this store, and especially the now closed Downtown location, really know their stuff and are exceptionally friendly and helpful. One of the great things about Con Olio is that you can go and taste, which is can be a fun little outing for folks who are from out of town and love to cook. They have some great ideas for using their balsamic vinegars to mix with seltzer water, which we do a ton of. The peach, mango, and lemon are my three favorites, but I would by lying if I said we only had those flavors. We have a ton of their balsamic vinegars in our house and love them on salads, soups, with drinks, etc. Def go and visit these guys.

We had the best time tonight at Chef Fer's Paella cooking class. This was my first paella class and it did not disappoint. It's interactive and Fer does a fantastic job explaining all the steps and love that go into paella. I highly recommend this class, eating, drinking and enjoying great company. Also, the blueberry balsamic is a must, grab that too!

Went to the first new year 2020 olive oil and balsamic vinegar class and tasting. Behold the fine cheeses and prosciutto to match. I didnt realize what I was missing in this area til I came. The staff were well verse and the classes were interactive instead of a recitation of facts. You learn a lot, you get to eat a lot, and the staff is second to none. Texas family owned who donates to the community. Takes pride in their sourcing and ensuring fresh. Definitely support this business and definitely take a class.

Love this place!! So many flavors of oil to cook with. Various combos of O&V for salads. I will never buy salad dressing again.

Always love coming here. Staff is always friendly. They give me credits for recycling my bottles. Love the greek green chili oil above all else. The oregano oil is wonderful as well. The roasted pumpkin seed oil is so rich. The balsamic vinegars are lovely, but sometimes too sweet for my liking, even when diluted. I stick to the deep flavored oils. Drive up from San Antonio just to get my fancy cooking supplies from here and a few other spice shops in this town.
