Me and group of friends stayed in the cabins at Happy Hollow . The folks running the place are top notch and will do anything to make your stay comfortable. The cabins were clean and well appointed ... they even have direct TV !! The river was down due to lack of rain but it was just nice to sit in a chair and enjoy the cool breeze . The store had pretty much everything we needed and the prices are reasonable . If you stay here you will definitely enjoy yourself .
The owners are so nice; the cabins are amazing, and the shuttle service for tubing is always prompt! The store has a lot of cool items and last minute supplies as well!
This establishment is taking no precautions to keep their customers safe during the pandemic. They don't warn you before booking, but once you arrive you will find a sign that says go home if you feel at risk. That's fine if you choose to go there knowing that, but if they take your money and then send you home without any basic considerations, that's running a racket. Please be aware if you're considering a stay.
No regard for the safety of their customers or the community, or for the statewide mask order. This is the sign on their front door. 200k dead in the US alone, and these people can't even be bothered to put a piece of cloth over their face. Take your business elsewhere, unless you were planning to spend the second half of your vacation in the ICU.
