They are constantly lying and dont bother communicating with one another. My name was legally changed 2 days before everything shut down. They refuse to accept my paperwork from the Judge. They refuse to help with online social security and they claim I owe mortage in colorado. Ive never even been to colorado. Each time I get them on the phone I get a different story. This process has been going on for months. I am a tax paying US citizen. The lies, the delagating, the refusal to do their jobs. Its pathetic and corrupt.

I had sent in an application to get another social security card with a copy of my license. They sent back a letter saying it wasn’t valid because they need the original license, meaning a hard copy. They aren’t taking ANY appointments because they are closed to the public due to COVID. They expect me to send my license in the mail to get a social security card.. and I was told it “wasn’t their problem” that I wouldn’t have my license and to talk to the DMV. So what does this mean?? I can’t drive for a week, if I need my license to purchase something that requires a license I can’t because I won’t have it. One would think they would at least be able to make an appointment during this time so people are able to KEEP their license with them and not send it in the mail. What happens if they mailman loses it ? You would think they would at least be “curbside” service try and at least make some of this process a little easier for people. They don’t have a drop box because they don’t want those documents being left... but we can send it in the mail with our license. And not have it for a period of time... but it’s “not their problem”

I called regarding a disability claim for my wife and was immediately treated disrespectfully by an individual with a thick accent. I tried asking questions regarding a letter their office had mailed to my house but the individual seemed more like he wanted to make things difficult rather than help. Eventually he hung up on me so I called back and talked to another individual who while helpful still lacked common courtesy at the beginning of the conversation, but eventually changed his demeanor after realizing his office had made mistake. At the end of the conversation I asked to speak with their supervisor but was told I could write a letter. They refused to give me any of their names. I suggest if you need to communicate with these people and the thick accented individual helps, immediately request someone else.
