The place is very nice. Quiet! Right on the Yough river in Confluence. Terry and Tim the owners are really cool people! Great area for fishing, hiking, biking! Very reasonably priced too! Book ahead!

Awesome place to stay. Soft bed and house feeling. Great view of the river from the lanai. But bring toilet paper, thus 4 stars.
Owners are awesome. VERY KIND and accommodating. We have stayed here many times. Normally we book the Home Sweet Home suite and its perfect for us. We bike the GAP and cook our meals in the well equipped kitchen. Very clean. This year we booked the upper Sweet Suite and will write another review after our stay.
Biking from DC to Pitt. After three days of camping in 90 degrees weather, needed a shower and bed. Was going to stay at Rivers Edge, but no AC! It was late and we called owner (Terri), and she bent over backwards to assist us. Clean room, comfy bed, hot shower, and AC! Would stay here again!
Owners hire someone to clean the 2 rooms below their residence, but don't walk down the steps to check on the cleaning. I was told to go to one room, but it had not been cleaned or sheets changed. I called and asked if I should go to the other room. The owner asked me to see if it looked ready! I said the bed was made, but there was no key, toilet paper or wifi password. I was told when the spouse got home it would be taken care of. Two hours later, I called again, this time the spouse who has been out answered, knowing nothing about my earlier call. I repeated no no key, toilet paper or wifi password. I was told the should be on the table. I assured that it wasn't. I was told to look under the TV. I said it wasn't under the TV nor behind the bureau or under the bed. It wasn't in the room. I also mentioned the wifi password and was told it should be on the bureau under the wall mounted TV. I agreed that it should be, but confirmed that it wasn't. I also mentioned the toilet paper. Eventually, I received a promise to have the key, password and toilet paper brought down. The kitchenette included a coffee maker, and while there was creamer and filters, there was no coffee. The only smooth part of staying here was the taking of my 103.55 payment. I was riding the C&I and GAP. I camped every other night. I wore a face mask on the trail and yet I got sick (not Covid, just a nasty flu). Now maybe I picked it up from the squirrels, but the most likely source was River View Kitchenettes.
So the lodging itself and surrounding town very nice. The building got smeared with eggs while we were hiking/boating in neighboring area. Had difficulty reaching owners and spent last evening of vacation hosing and cleaning walkway and walls to get into room. In addition there was very loud and volatile altercation outside rental. Stressful and owners charged FULL price for a horrible last evening.
Stayed in the upstairs unit Very nice with views of the river. We enjoyed our stay.
