My daughter and son in law have been without power for over 30 hours! It is literally 20 degrees INSIDE their home! They along with two children are absolutely freezing! While some have power during rolling outages, some haven’t lost power AT ALL and some haven’t had power throughout the WHOLE ice storm! I’m sure the ones in charge are cozy at home with THEIR families without a care in the world! SHAME on you! WE have loved ones WE care about too! Get the power on!!!!! People are FREEZING to death!!!

Called needing a letter of credit for another property to avoid the deposit. We are in good standing with Energy and have been for the last 2 years and 4 years prior to a move in between. I called and was put on hold and then I'm transferred to a phone survey, so I was disconnected. I had to leave to pick up my child. I called back and was on hold back and forth for over an hour. They will only send a letter of credit by mail which they say will take up to 3 weeks or fax personal fax only. We need it by this Friday. I asked if I could go in and pick it up myself. The only walk in service is in Louisiana. They will not email it. They will not fax it to your work. It doesn't make any sense. SO I have wasted a good bit of my time and can't get what I need. What should've taken 5 minutes took over an hour. Anyway, maybe this will save you the trouble if you are looking for a letter of credit. Make sure you know you need it a month in advance. lol

I lived in California during wildfires, Florida and Louisiana during hurricane seasons but this company is the most blackouts I have ever seen and only been a customer for 6 months. I am honestly truly impressed by the incompetence of this company. This is why monopolies are terrible. No competition let’s them get away with this case study of how not to run an utilities company.
