ATTENTION: WARD ELECTRIC IN CONROE, TEXAS JUST GOT A BIG FAT 'F' FOR SERVICE! A member of my family, a senior, bought an outside light for the yard, paying nearly 80.00 from this company. It was an industrial type that they hoped would last for many years. It ceased to work after less than two years. She bought a new bulb from them for it, thinking it could have went out (mine, a similar model but from a different store, lasted ten years before I had to replace the bulb) but the one they sold her would not fit. She took it back, they were rude, initially telling her it was the right one, but when she challenged them to compare it with the old one she brought with her, they saw indeed it was the wrong one. Now, she is over seventy and driving thirty miles to do business with this shop, thinking it would be better to deal with a small business rather than a big box store. They gave her the right bulb and told her to bring the light back if that didn't work. She tried the bulb, it did not work so she brought the light back. They refused to replace the outside light and told her they never said to bring it back. I would not recommend doing business as these people failed to be friendly or even professional and did not honor their word. This senior deserved more respect and she is not the type to be irate so they have no excuse other than poor character.
