This company was a referral to me that Mr. Ruben had no knowledge of.. My first interaction w/ Mr. Ruben went quite well during our phone conversation. I told him I was looking for a company that could accommodate a small order of ‘mock up samples’. Ruben told me that they could work with us getting that done. I was very pleased with what he was saying so I wanted to discuss further details about what we were looking for in a company for our future needs so I asked if he could send me their companies NDA signed and a invoice with a quote that we discussed per my attorney’s advice. 2 days later everything went left. I was told that I’m asking for to much paper work, they don’t do small orders, they are really busy with big clients and he was only doing this as a favor from the referral and he really doesn’t want to put in the work. So I politely asked Ruben why is there a different tone in this conversation from the first one we had and I told him I didn’t appreciate the way he was speaking to me which is when he hangs up in my face and then proceeded to type me a lengthy rude email. Apparently me asking for a NDA, AND INVOICE with the quote that was discussed initially was too much but he had the time to type up a rude email. This MALE friend who referred this company had a total different experience. I’m not sure why Ruben thought it was ok to speak to me in the manner of which he did and throw the ‘I’m only doing this as a favor of a friend’ in my face when he didn’t know the guy from the beginning of our initial conversation. Needless to say, all of this could have been avoided from the beginning if he had articulated that they do not want to work with small orders. We’ve invested a lot thus far with our products and have decided not to deal with this low caliber business behavior. They are not the company for us to grow with.
