Only gave it a 3 star just because their food is actually good. Been going there for years because their portions vs price was pretty fair. However recently their prices have just skyrocketed ridiculously. Oxtail went from 15 to 22. Not worth it. Gotta find another Caribbean spot. Any suggestions are welcomed. And what is a service fee???

So I made a purchase 11/20/2020. Purchased curry chicken special and small oxtail dinner. Attached is the receipt. 18.99 for a small oxtail dinner. The prices are getting ridiculous. You could have a hibachi live cooking show for that price. They are saying it's due to the pandamic the prices have increased. Then they are charging a 1 service charge for what, I dont even know. Check your recipts!
Food is good but there’s been a price increase. The lunch special went up 1.30. Not too bad but my last experience there, the lady dug through the pan to find me the smallest pieces of chicken that was in there. More money and less food? Nah, I’m good. I called Golden Krust on Saturday, March 27, afternoon, to place a special order for a party I was hosting on Sunday, March 28th. My order was taken by Ms. Lydia. She was very professional and listened when I told her how I wanted my food cooked. Golden Krust is known for crunchy cabbage and I did not want that I wanted it to be cooked throughly. I called Sunday around 1pm and Ms. Lydia told me I could come pick the food an hour earlier. When I arrived she greeted me and told me to pull the car around. All of the pans were labeled and ready for pick up. They help me load the pans in the car. I ordered a full pan of oxtails, full steamed veggies (cabbage), full pan of jerk wings, and half pan of plantains, rice and peas, steamed white rice, curry goat.THE FOOD WAS GOOD!!! Ms. Lydia I appreciate you for everything. We will definitely order again.
I live in the area and order from you time to time. The food is very good but the rice could use a flavor boost. My reason for 3 stars is because you need to tell people when you are selling plant based fake meat patties disguised as beef patties. Everyone is not converting to this diet!! I feel like I was tricked just to make a sell! I was sold this item without warning and very very disappointed in the taste. I threw it away and wasted my money.
Great Portion Size for The Price. I travel from Atlanta just for this location. The Oxtails and Curry Chicken. Speedy service. No Drive Thru (But that's not a problem)

This restaurant use to carry good food. They must have changed the chef. The king fish was fried hard and the rice n peas taste like they put ginger in it. why??? Not to mention the carrot juice was just awful. No lie it taste like vinegar in it. And they have the nerve to be more expensive than the other Golden crust's. The one by stonecrest mall is delicious all the time and the snapper is wayyy cheaper than here.Stone mountain have excellent food too. This place has changed. So disappointed.
