I am so happy I found this place! Everyone was super nice, patient, and honest. I didn’t feel pushed to buy anything and I didn’t feel like they were telling what I wanted to hear just to make a sell. Absolutely loved it and would recommend it to anyone!!

Couture By Tess was the perfect place to find my wedding dress! They were all super friendly and helpful and they will not make you feel pressured into buying anything, but support you with whatever you want in a dress. This is the only place I tried on wedding dresses where they actually put me in dresses MY size! They are also VERY reasonable with alteration prices. I would absolutely recommend everyone who is looking for a wedding dress to come here. They are amazing!
I cannot believe how amazing this bridal shop is! Couture by Tess was the first shop I decided to make an appointment at and right from the moment I walked in the door, I was in awe at how beautiful the place was! It’s in an old building in the center of Cookeville that has the perfect touch of elegance and chic yet still incorporates the beauty of the original structure. Just gorgeous! Each time I went in for a fitting, I was welcomed by Sasha, Tess herself, and their assistant and was asked if I wanted a variety of drinks such as champagne or a mimosa... it felt so classy! The team is just awesome and kept my budget into consideration, which I really appreciated. Sasha definitely helped me narrow down what I liked, didn’t like, and had me try on gowns that I normally wouldn’t have tried on but was surprised by the way they fit on me body shape (which, by the way, is a huge thing to consider when going dress shopping... most of the time we’re not the models in the photos we look at!). Their whole presentation was very impressive and the girls will give their honest opinions, which I also appreciated so much. I ended up going with the first dress I ever tried on and I’m so happy I did... it fit like a glove AND was within my price range! The whole process was made seamless and I loved the fact that at the time I made my decision and signed the paperwork, I was asked to take a picture holding a sign stating “I said yes to TESS!”. I HIGHLY recommend you look here for you wedding dress, you won’t regret it!
Every aspect of Couture by Tess is unparalleled. The service is top notch—they actually listen to your wants and needs, they don’t rush you or pressure you at all. The selection of dresses is absolutely incredible—unique dresses and brands that are jaw-dropping! With over 1,000 dresses in store, there’s not a bad choice in the bunch, but they make certain that you find the right dress for you—your style, your venue, your budget. Tess has an amazing eye for fashion and fabrics, and you can tell that she has developed great relationships with her vendors and suppliers. The entire staff really cares about their brides. I had the pleasure of being one of Tess' very first bridal customers in 2014. I was a plus sized bride(22-24) and at the time had gone to a widely known bridal shop with the excitement of finding my perfect gown only to be disappointed that they only carried up to a size 14 and that I had to purchase a gown without ever having tried it on. The entire process was disappointing. I was headed out the door clueless as to where I would search until an associate stopped me as I was leaving and whispered go check out this place you may find what you need there. I was somewhat reluctant but decided to see what this place was about. I along with my best friend/maid of honor arrived to her boutique and were greeted by her charming husband Joe who graciously allowed us to come inside and take a peek in Tess' absence. I was amazed by the variety of dresses that were available and IN MY SIZE!!! I was so elated to find a place that catered to me. Soon after Tess invited me to come again to an open house where she did a showcase of even more gowns to choose from. She is the most gracious host you will ever meet ..the lady is an absolute angel. I later scheduled a private appointment where I was able to try on several gowns that I had eyed in the boutique and was finally custom fitted for the gown of my choice. Tess kept in touch often in the months leading up to my wedding to ensure every detail of my wedding package was just the way I wanted. Everything was PERFECT and I felt BEAUTIFUL on my wedding day. She also included in my custom wedding package a beautiful veil and shoulder piece that turned heads on my day. Thank you sooo much Tess for everything you did for me. Love Chanta'
The ladies at Couture by Tess were absolutely AMAZING. I came in to my consultation having no idea what kind of wedding dress I wanted. The ladies were so knowledgeable and so patient and made sure I found the absolute perfect gown! I end up selecting a design by Tess herself. Such a wide selection of truly elegant designs. Couture by Tess Bridal gave me not only a BEAUTIFUL wedding dress, but an incredible experience my family and I will cherish forever!
This place was great. Hannah was very knowledgeable and was on point with my daughters wants. Literally in and out quickly (maybe an hr and 1/2) Tried on I think 5 dresses. And the second one was definitely the one. Absolutely fantastic staff, highly recommended.
