Stayed two nights and don't have anything to complain about. Backyard was picturesque with a pond and space to walk around. Breakfast was made to order and superb both times. Hosts were very friendly. Room was quiet. Whole house is a work in process and will only get better as improvements are made. I didn't even mind being "twenty minutes from everywhere" because the drives were so scenic (through the country or along the lake).

Really enjoyed our stay. Comfy bed, the owners were nice, and John makes a great breakfast! Affordable and still convenient to downtown Cooperstown. Just fyi, location is about half a mile out of range for our phone carrier (Cricket), but they let us use the land line when we needed it. They do have free wifi.
Kim and John are terrific hosts. Kim makes a killer Mexican dish, and John's bacon is the best way to start the morning. Be sure to check out the acreage surrounding the inn; it's gorgeous. I had the fortune of seeing the sunset on the one and only night I stayed there, and it was a breathtaking view. You'll not doubt enjoy this quiet inn as much as I did.
Charm fills this hotel which fits perfectly into its country location. Everything seems clean and well kept while keeping the cells of an antique home. Inn keeper is sociable, breakfast is tasty, not much else to say but stay.
John and Kim are wonderful host. Breakfast was excellent and house was quite charming and most importantly the finer original aspects of this 150 year home were intact...
