I love this place! It's far from where I live but whenever I'm on this side of town I hit them up. The staff is nice and the store is generally quiet. They offer better pricing on vegan products than Kroger and Whole Foods.

Emphasis on nearly all products there Organic . Very kudos to them. May be less produce items . May not have setup like whole foods or sprouts for nuts dry fruits type open bin setup . Otherwise very recommendable with their product selection and quality . They have always something to try ( snacks / breads / fruit pieces ) We should encourage these alternate options to corporate stores .

Travel Bug

All organic foods with a nice selection of fresh vegetables. Don't go there if you're looking for fresh meat though as all are small pre-packagd and a very limited selection. This is a perfect store for vegans.

I stopped by after not visiting for a while and was pleasantly surprised. Their organic and specialty food selection is impressive. Also, many prices were much lower in comparison to Whole Foods. All their produce is organic and seasonal items such as plums and peaches were a steal. Also, great prices on pasture-raised eggs and avocados. You can fill up jugs of water here as well (0.25 a gallon). I'm happy for an alternative because the water dispenser at WF is always broken. Edited to add: Natural Grocers is a true treasure. This week I discovered bags of great organic produce for just 2!!! One day I got a bag of 8 kiwis and another a mixed bag of limes, oranges, apples, and pears. One more edit: Best prices on organic fruits and vegetables I have ever seen.
