I really like the food here specially the fried rice made at hibachi grill and customized sushi. But I am somewhat disappointed with the service. Usually hibachi is all about the show put up (skills) put up while preparing your food in front of you on a grill and they are not that good at it. But still it is a good place if you want to try hibachi grill.and if you are a party of more than 4 people you might get a private table otherwise you’ll end up sharing the table with strangers. I don’t eat seafood, beef & pork and last time when I went to konomi I was seated with others and they ordered steak! I told the chefs to make sure he does not mix the knife and spatula but he did which was very disappointing. So if you are planning to get make sure you tell your preferences in prior and make sure they take care of it !
Specializing in BLAND food and HORRIBLE customer service. Made a point to let us know that they were forgiving US for THEIR own mistake. Then, they were kind enough to automatically include an 18% tip. Go somewhere else. The leadership here is awful. I don't blame the employees. They are simply adhering to the low standards set for them. Plus, a bunch of drunk people were around us being loud and vulgar.
I’ve had a lot of sushi from across the country, and Konomi punches WAY above its weight class. The rolls are superb and flavorful, the sashimi is will melt in your mouth, and the service is some of the best. The next time you want real sushi and a relaxed atmosphere at a good price, head to Konomi. An effortless 5 stars!
My family loves this place, and it wasn't our first time. The food is amazing, the staff is wonderful, and it's just an overall comfortable and fun atmosphere. We came here tonight for my birthday, and I got mochi ice cream for this. :)
