One of the worst service anyone can have from the owner. On behalf of my family it’s sad how the owner can treat you how they want and keep someone’s love one in that place and not care what happens to the person who has passed away.Please think twice before getting any services done by Akes Family Funeral Home. I can’t express enough how rude the owner is and very unprofessional. Please stay away from this place you will not get your love one at a reasonable time and they do not care. Ruth is very unprofessional and should be reported to the BBB. If I could give no stars I would.

Staff was very friendly and professional. Unfortunately they really need to get a better wireless microphone. It kept cutting out, even after they replaced the battery mid-service. Also for some odd reason they were still playing background music for first 10 minutes of the service. If mic doesn't work 99% of the time, they should not use it!

Very well kept place. The only thing I got to speak of is the lack of available parking. I would take a picture but there is a wake happening as I type. Please forgive me.
