Highly recommend learning glass blowing with Benjamin! He is incredibly knowledgeable, very encouraging, and provides a wonderful first time experience to beginners who know absolutely nothing about glass blowing. I am a bit of a perfectionist and was getting frustrated with myself when I was making errors, but he would tell me I was doing wonderful, tell me how to salvage my mistakes, and would highlight everything I was doing right. He watched over you in case he needed to step in and fix anything, but he did a great job about giving you space to do it by yourself as well. I gained more confidence as the class progressed due to his direction and encouragement. It was fun to pick out colors for each of your projects, and you had 3 takes to make a globe and 3 takes to make a sphere. My husband and I are planning on returning to take one of his intermediate classes. They’re a great date night idea.

This is an awesome experience for young and old. (Minimum age is 12) Benjamin the owner and instructor does an great job to get us to learn the fundamentals of glass blowing. This class is interactive and not just watching. You are choosing the colors, handling the glass in the flame, blowing the glass and even pulling it. It sounds a little scary, but he walks you through every step and is right there beside you if you need help. It’s super safe. We each had 6 attempts to make our ornaments (3 spheres and 3 spears). With Benjamin’s guidance and support each ornament got better and better. Out of the 12 ornaments we made, only one was unsalvageable. Bottom line: Try a class! You’ll love the experience, the learning and the glass you created.

We had an wonderful experience for our first time glass blowing class. Our instructor was VERY knowledgeable- he verbally walked through every detail first, then did a demo while talking it through. Then it was our turn- he stood by our side and guided us and gave wonderful instruction while it was happening, and was able to “save” any mess ups we made! We got to make 3 orbs and 3 spheres. We only had one break, and was able to remake it, wahoo! All of the colors were completely customizable. Because of the process, we need to wait to let the glass re-harden, so we will head back in a couple days to pick up our new treasures. If you’re looking for a great intro class with tons of knowledge being shared, you’ll want to take this class!

My wife and I did the beginners glassblowing class here this morning and really loved it! It has only increased our interest in glassblowing all the more. Our instructor, Benjamin, was conversational, witty, and funny from start to finish. And he was very patient with each of us! We attended a semi-private class and worked alternating with another couple to create our ornaments. It was a lot of fun learning something new today. We will definitely be back to do this again. Thanks, Ben!
