Had a nice selection of horses. If your an out of state buyer, get a coggins and brand release no matter what, even if your state has reciprocity with SD. Got a certified letter in the mail quarantining the horses we bought (from the state vet). We called the sale barn and the owner of the barn said our horses were SD horses. I asked the sale barn for the seller's info and she said it was on the bill of sale (it was not). She said you could of talked to the vet, which the vet left even before the sale was over. Also, no one at the barn to write a brand release. Very unorganized sale barn office. Not impressed. Will drive West to Billings next time.
