Very disappointed today. The automated pay out machine was out of order, so we went to the counter. The male worker told us he could only cash us out to 35 for the whole family. It was my daughter and myself and we each had done 35 and a little more on another ticket. The worker cashed my daughters 11.80 ticket and refused to cash out her 35 ticket citing the 35.00 limit. (She handed him both at the same time and he chose which to cash out). I handed him my 35 ticket and asked how we can get the other two cashed. He said they are good for 24 hours and we could come back tomorrow. We asked about going to the Albany bottle drop and he said that we could. Come to find out (after calling bottle drop customer service) the tickets are only good at the store you used and normally when you walk out, the tickets are not able to be redeemed. Robert at customer service worked to get this remedied and my daughter had to create an account to get the last 55 of our money. It was very disheartening that the employee was not more helpful. Hopefully this won’t happen to anyone else.

The Corvallis location is by far my favorite. The staff and the machines are great.
Gr8 way to get the return from the investment in deposit money!! Remember your masks. There is a hand washing station on-site. YaY
This was quite a pleasant surprise. Winco has closed their drop (probably other stores, as well). This is easy to find - back in the NE corner of Buchanan and 9th Street (enter off 9th Street at Washington Federal Bank @ 1111 NW Ninth St. Suite B; or North off Buchanan into the alley in front of Demoss Funeral Home. They had a very easy \self serve\ like most bottle machines, and they had a cool customer service desk that could take a pile of cans/bottles and sort them out a one time. You get a receipt and if you want, there is an easy cash machine that gives you for your return. Since this was my first time, I was skeptical ... but it turned out great. OH - they have extended summer hours in the evenings - until 7PM.
It’s always crowded and the most of the employees don’t care about social distancing guidelines or people wearing masks. For the most part the employees are nice though.
