I was referred here by a friend and I am so impressed! I had a beautiful pair of suede Spell & The Gypsy ankle boots in a light tan color that unfortunately got beer spilled on them about 2-3 years ago at a show. I started wearing them less because of the stains but for some reason never tried to get them cleaned. When I took them to Anthony's in Costa Mesa, I appreciated his transparency when he said he couldn't say for sure if the stains would lift. I didn't mind paying in advance because the boots were expensive and I figured it was worth a chance since they were just sitting in my closet. When I picked them up, I was expecting to still see some stains. I was extremely surprised and stoked to find that not only was he able to remove the stains completely, but somehow he managed to make them look brand new! Today, I dropped off my favorite handbag from Bali to have the straps re-sewn on, and also my room mates Louis Vuitton shoes that were looking pretty old and scuffed. I'm excited to pick them both up next weekend!. I highly recommend Anthony's Shoe Repair in Costa Mesa for anyone looking for shoe or handbag repairs. Let's support local business!

Solid shoe repair store!!! Seriously, Anthony saved my life (and Tory Burches.) I’ve been meaning to touch up my shoes for a long time but needed to find the right store that would give my flats the TLC it deserved. I shopped around to find the right one and finally settled with Anthony’s because not only was it close to my work, they also have a Yelp coupon to help lower the cost of the repair. I believe I was quoted 75 for sole and heel repair but paid less than that with the coupon. Anthony took the time to explain exactly what kind of repairs my shoes really needed in order for the work to last much longer. Seeing as how TB doesn’t make the most reliable pair of flats (intentional, of course) I knew that I could stretch it out for a couple more years with Anthony’s advice. I had been quoted a week for the repair to be finished. I came back but unfortunately it had not been completed. Nonetheless, Anthony promised me that he would get it done the next day. I figured it was no problem since it was during Labor Day Weekend. I came back and my shoes looked brand new! He had even gone through the effort of touching up the dye on the shoes since it was in serious need as well. Thank you so much for everything! I hope that this review helps others decide where they should go to next time because the service was spectacular and my shoes are going strong!
Michael and his team have done many of my shoes over the last few years - dress and casual. And they have ALWAYS ended up absolutely perfect. I keep telling him that he's undercharging...
