This SCAM/ FAKE place has been around since the 1980s. IF you are model or acting quality they will find you and train you. Barbi land is all about getting your money and if your FOOLISH enough to part with it then you deserve it STAY THE HELL AWAY AND HELP CLOSE THIS FAKE BUSINESS DOWN. HOW MANY "STARS" have won an Oscar and thanked "Bar business On" ......0.
Great business. Does everything as promised. The people claiming this business is a scam share the commonality: that their kids are undisirable, blaming the agency for not getting returns for their investment, "for the kid(s)". They are not rude people, please take your business somewhere else and show some dignity and respect.
This place should not be in business. They prey on unsuspecting teenagers with promises of fame at the mall (so classy, I know). I would highly recommend you stay away from enrolling your kids in their program. Its nothing more than a scam. You would be much better enrolling your kids in after school activities such as karate, swimming or track and field.
They just want your money. I went about 4 years ago and it was over 2 grand. The guy who helped me said I had great potential (he told all of the students that). They never called me or checked back with me once I graduated. I would not recommend unless you have the money to take your kid(s) to distract themselves for a couple of hours a week.
I just left the office and It felt so fake. They told me my daughter would be in tv, movie's,commercial. But they didn't guarantee anything. They kept asking for money and would not give me more time to think about other options. They said "pay now or you can't come to classes". SCAM ALERT. your better off taking your kid to dance class or some sport. Please avoid this scam.
All they want is money. No matter what circumstance you or your child are in , it's all about the money at the end of the day! I understand a "contract" but really? Certain circumstances should be considered. My daughter is unable to attend because we had to move and they still want the money. Also there are some incredibly RUDE staff!
This is a quality academy for training children in the arts and knowledge of Southern California modeling and acting (two locations under one management: Costa Mesa and Diamond Bar). The teachers are dedicated and desire the children to succeed. I've had two children involved with this academy, and I am pleased with the foundation that was built. My children are getting auditions and work, and they continue to build on their Barbizon foundation.
