Delicious as heck. Outside heaters make it cozy to sit outside at night. A little dark to see the menus (some of the little lamps aren't bright enough), but otherwise a great dining experience during this COVID times.

I like this spot! They prepare first-rate meals, their menu is varied, The chief cook in that restaurant is a specialist, I like a lot eating all their dishes. The dishes are always tasty, the attitude towards the clients is helpful. I often go to this place and I was never unsatisfied. I recommend it to all.

The place is small but they placed tables in the parking lot so it's not the best situation right now. However, food is good and reasonably priced. Presently, take out is highly recommended.

Their udon never disappoints, and service is always great! This is was our go-to spot for comfort food when we lived nearby. They normally don't have outside seating, but due to covid, there are several tables out front with barriers and umbrellas. They'll bring a little lantern out so you can read the menu. It was a nice dinner date for my husband and I, because the ambience and faint street noise made it feel like we were dining in Asia. They are being careful with entry. We saw them do temperature checks before allowing guests inside! We chose to sit outside for the fun of it, but I started getting chilly since I didn't have sleeves. Without us asking, a server checked on us to ask if we'd like a heater, then promptly brought one out and lit it next to our table. We enjoyed the experience and will definitely go out of our way to eat here again.

Perfect comfy food. Great menus with different options. Their udon noodles might be one of the best in town. Price is little higher than what it is. It's perfect to come once in a while. Ps: line is always long. Get here early.

Outside seating were repeated with plastic dividers and heaters all around so you will be warm when eating during chilly days. Service was great very accommodating, food was also delicious. Their Udon were nice and silky broth was very flavorful full of umami

Always a pleasure to be seated here. The food and service are great. This time around I ordered the Shabu Shabu Udon, beef tongue, grilled squid, karaage, and the takoyaki. All of the dishes came out pretty quickly during the evening service and were delicious to eat. It is cold at night for outdoor seating and the staff provides propane tank heaters to help.

Whatever your mood, you can never go wrong with meiji seimen. Stepping into meiji seimen was always like traveling to Japan. The restaurant is tiny, but they make good use of their inside space. This place is perfect for a date night, a casual meal, or as takeout to enjoy the comforting food at home! My favorite items on the menu are the shabu shabu udon and the braised chasu rice bowl. The noodles are made in-house and you can definitely tell the difference! The braised chasu bowl is just the right amount of tenderness, with a seared texture on the outside. I prefer meiji seimen over the udon place over in southcoast. Go support meiji seimen! They have great deals right now because of covid. I really hope that this business makes it through the pandemic, because they are truly a gem.
