It was huge, green and lush. They had decent restrooms. There are even loaner life jackets for the swimmers.

During the summer, the water is so high you can't see any of this. But it's pretty and lots of space to walk and find little things people drop off their boats during the summer. Summertime, the dock is a good place for kids to jump off and boats to dock. You can watch people skiing or cast a line in. Fall brings the creek bed to life when the water is low. I have seen several people out walking the other day, just enjoying something that is normally covered by water. It is worth the drive and stop. It's beautiful and I found lots of agates, quartz and opals just walking the dry lake field.
