It is hard to find woodworkers these days and I feel fortunate to have found Omondi Woodworking. I contacted Daniel, the owner, about a solid wood dining table with which two of the four legs had become undone with the braces buckling after I tried to turn it over. (It was heavier than I thought). I could not find replacement braces anywhere. No one else I contacted responded. Daniel did. He drove down from the Hartford area to my home in Hamden, looked at the table, took the needed parts with him and returned a week later with the braces fixed and connected. My table stands strong again. While at my place that first time, I also showed him some wood cabinets that were buckling. He told me they could be repaired rather than replaced. He came down with his assistant Stephen and together they took them down and took the cabinets with them to their shop. Within a little more than a week, he and Stephen returned with new wood frames and dividers and remounted them. They looked better than new. I had a 30-year-old wood table with leaves that needed refinishing. He took that back to his shop and returned with my refinished table looking, again, as good as new. Daniel and Stephen take pride in their work and it shows. Obviously I am more than pleased with his work. I plan to have a TV stand made and a few other items. Their excellence is appreciated.

Took my Sofa for re-upholster and return within 10 days, after 5 weeks, and multiple follow up, was able to see. Used over 175% of fabric compared to estimates and calculations, and yet they ended up stitching sofas with seams in the middle and patterns mis-match, prepared the pillow by simply pushing the old pillows under a new, hurriedly stitched pillow, making them un-usable; missing panels of sofa; using \Push pins in erratic patterns\... This is one business where you can ruin your sofa and pay for it too.
