Not friendly to disabled children. Not only was the employee rude to the caregiver who pulled down the mask so the hearing disabled child could hear her speak. He told her she could not pull down the mask. When she stated she was leaving the employee stated \great.\ All this was done in front of a child picking out a book to read. Extremely disappointed. When did we stop caring about people? Also I was in line to check out before the incident and heard the employee in particular stating that he wanted to go over there and harass the woman. Said he \didn't care\ and \didn't like her anyway.\ He then grabbed a few books and walked into that direction. *Edit: I spoke the the manager. Turns out she was one of the people doing the gossiping about the customer, in front of other customers.... Why was the employee only enforsing the mask mandate after she entered the store?

I used to love this store until I went to sell there. I brought them about 25 atari games and about 20 books. In return I was given 30 bucks.. Couldn’t even refuse the deal because they were already stocking our things on the shelf. Wish i had just sold the games on facebook!! I researched before going there, expecting some kind of appraisal.. instead you put your things in a tote to be evaluated and pick up the money later. The games were roughly worth 10-15 a piece.. Never selling there again.

Do not shop here if you have a disability or believe that the ADA should be upheld in corporations because it is this stores \policy\ to discriminate against the disabled. I only went here because my son likes to look around, but was not allowed in because of my disability. Not only have I called corporate and left a complaint, but I will buy ALL my used books on Thrifybooks online as they have everything under the sun at a fraction of the cost. My son wanted a video game, but that will be purchased elsewhere as well. I plan on telling everyone I know not to shop at this discriminating franchise.
